Seven Rings into One

Client Anna has these 7 rings. The 2 matching wedding bands had special meaning so I kept those intact and made them the edges of the new ring. Then I took the remaining stones and made this design.
She was ecstatic!
Anna said: “Augusta... no words for the beauty and the genius design from your amazing mother. Norma, you put 15 years of my memorable jewelry into one dynamic piece. It’s a one-of-a-kind treasure! Thanks a million!”

“Troika” Necklace

The client had 3 stones. 2 were in rings. She wanted to make a necklace in yellow gold with a minimalist look and inclusion of the diamonds. She chose my first design. It included the chain.

When it was complete she said “It is just spectacular. The necklace is just a beautiful piece of jewelry that gives me so much pleasure. The stones are so meaningful and the collaboration with you was just spectacular. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Amazing work” - R.L.

She later added a pair of Norma Wellington Designs earrings that complemented it.

Pink Passion Pendant

This small pendant was a hit several years ago but the wearer wanted something more outstanding. So I grew the flower!
She loves it because the pendant now is an attention grabber.

“Moonlight” Earrings

The client had a pair of earrings from a beloved relative. She wanted a more up-to-date look. We discussed the style that she looking for. She wanted a pair of ear climbers, so I refashioned her diamonds. Placing them closer together. Resulting in a more brilliant look.

“So beautiful! So pretty. A perfect ode to the original earrings!” - R.L.

Rhodochrosite Earrings and Statement Ring

The client purchases a unique conch shell necklace from me. She came to me and requested simple earrings and a statement ring to match the necklace.

She selected rhodochrosite cabochon in a minimalist setting for the earrings. For the ring, the client selected a gold frame that mirrored the outline of the necklace.

Horizontal Pin Into Vertical Necklace

Client had this beautiful pin which she wanted to wear as both a pin and necklace. I made it it vertical and added a diamond enhancer. I then made the necklace from faceted garnets to match the ones in the pin. Knotted it and clasped it in 18K.

Brooch Into necklace

Antique amethyst brooch that could be worn in either direction needed to be the focal point of a necklace. Norma Wellington Designs created a handmade link chain with bezel set faceted amethysts and faceted amethyst beads and gold. It was the perfect design to offset the elegant antique piece. Necklace section is removable so pin can be worn either way.

“It looks beautiful” - Client’s comment.

These were some of the suggestion of earrings that would compliment the necklace.

Pin into Delicate Bracelet

Client came to Norma Wellington Designs with her beautiful diamond pin was sitting in the drawer.
She thought she would like to have a bracelet made from it.
I designed two choices. Either a powerful statement cuff or a delicate chain bracelet.
Since she wanted to give it to her daughter who is a small boned person, she selected the chain bracelet.

“I love it!” -L.O.

Pin into Pendant

Client came to Norma Wellington Designs and brought herself a matching pin and earrings.

Since pins are not very popular these days I took the horizontal pin and made it into a vertical pendant.

“Now I will really enjoy it.” M.B.

Pin Necklace

Although this antique bow pin is very beautiful there are not many opportunities to wear it.
The client was not sure if she may want to wear it as a pin, so at Norma Wellington Designs, I made a removable necklace for her.
I used an antique chain which matched well and added six pearls.
They pickup the drops of the pin.
Now she has two options.

Opal Brooch into Pendant

Client inherited this opal and yellow gold brooch that she would never wear.

She wanted a pendant.

I made one sketch and one sketch only.

She liked it so I laid it on wax to be sure she would satisfied.

To make it more versatile I made the drop removable.

Here it is finished.

The comment I got was: "Gorgeous" R.S.

“Everything she does is magic” A.B.K

Necklace & Bracelets Transformed into Lapis Wedding Band

An out of the country client sent me her necklace and bracelets for me to transform into a wide wedding band.

This is how these odds pieces emerged as the wedding ring.

I took the lapis from the necklace, the diamonds from the tennis bracelet and the stones from the two white gold bracelets, and they led me to envision a wedding ring.

I sent her a rough sketch which she approved.

“ I love it just the way it is. Thank you so much it is beautiful.” - T.B.

The client was so pleased she asked me to design a pendant to match the ring. Working on that now.

Lapis Pendant Designed to Match Lapis Ring

Client ordered a brand new pendant custom design. She was so happy with the ring I made for her using her stones that she wanted a pendant to match it. This time I supplied the metal and stones.

"it is beautiful. Love it so much." - T.B.

Someday I hope to meet her! The entire job was done virtually.

Client lost her plain yellow gold ball from this ring. She had also lost half a pair of diamond earrings. I suggested that I could take the diamonds from the earring and make a white gold ball and incrust it with her diamonds. When she saw it finished she said "You are amazing. I am thrilled with my ring. I will wear it more now that it fits than I have ever worn it before. Is is stunning!”- CR I was pleased.

Took these two rings, made a design and then improved on it. It lead to the creation of this ring.
I used two of the stones for the new ring. She wanted a very simple necklace with the remaining stone.

Client needed a gift for a young girl's special occasion. She had a bracelet that she no longer enjoyed. So I took the pearls and made a necklace and added the girl's initial. The choice was it to be in either gold or silver and since cost was a factor the client opted for sterling.

There is no limit to how different your old pieces can look. With vision they can be transformed.

Client had a vintage rose gold bracelet she no longer wore. She said she would like a ring so I gently cut the antique bracelet apart and made it into this unique ring.
I love to create wearable new pieces for you from those you have sitting in your drawer.
Client had this to say, " It is perfect and I love my ring."

Client had a antique gold pin that she no longer wore and the tassel was turned sideways and needed repair. I suggested it would make a unique pendant. I carefully removed the two ends and took the matching gold pin and tassel loop to complete the pendant.

I love to create wearable new pieces for you from those you have sitting in your drawer.

Client's ring containing a center round diamond and 4 marquis.
She wanted the center stone to be a simple pendant.
Then she wanted ideas for a pair of earring using the 4 marquis
She selected this one. I suggested if she had 2 small diamonds we could use them. She gave me this ring.
Laying the diamonds on the sketch.
The diamond and white gold earrings complete.
See them on happy client. She said: "It is perfect and I love my ring."

The client had seven rings that she no longer wore but held treasured memories.
She wanted all the stones together in one piece. I created a rough sketch. She left the decision up to me and I decided to use a combination.
The placement of the stones was very important.
Then I had a choice on how to mix the colors of the square stones.
I choose to alternate the colors. The final pendant was set in 14k gold.
The customer said, "Wearing it makes me feel like Cleopatra."

Carlton Ring

Customer had 2 rings, an emerald and a tanzanite ring. One stone left from the bracelet. 10 of tanzanite in the bracelet and the 2 diamonds from the emerald ring were used in a design of a pair of earrings.

The reminder of the stones were used to create the ring on the right.

So unusual that is made it into a magazine

A lovely delicate small client inherited this sizable ring.

She wanted to use all the diamonds and I created this delicate necklace.

Customer wanted to separate this antique Victorian repoussé pin to make earrings and a necklace.

After delicately separating the two sides of the pin, a pair of earrings were made.

Using the center stone the client wanted a more current necklace to update the set.

Antique pin owned by the client's grandmother and her only heirloom.

The stones were glass.

I turned it into a pendant adding genuine diamonds. The new design gave the blue glass stones a youthful look.

Before and after

Took customer's engagement rings and earrings. Gave each of them a halo and connected them and added a chain to make a brand new necklace.

Client had a antique tiara made into a necklace and she wanted a pair of earrings to match it. I duplicated the design of the center section and created the earrings.

Client had a pair of diamond earring and she wanted something in a geometric design. We went from circles to squares and added a few rubies to create the geometric pattern.

Client had a tennis bracelet that she no longer wore. She wanted her two children to have a part of it. I created two identical pairs of earrings which made her very happy. With the remaining stones I created an initial which she could wear so that the entire bracelet could be used.
